The Pattern Maker won the Pen Factor Prize in 2012. The final round judges included David Godwin (DGA), Cathryn Summerhayes (WME), Dan Franklin (Random House), Larry Finlay (Transworld), Gordon Wise (Curtis Brown), Jonathan Conway (The Agency Group), Jennifer Custer (A.M.Heath) and Carole Blake (Blake Friedmann).
The other finalists were Laura Grace, Bonny Brooks and Fawzia Kane.
